Getting to Know Sweden

From my point of view, the perfect holidays are ecotourism holidays.
I hope to witness the pristine bits of the world while they’re still out there.
It’s important that when on vacation I feel that I’m not merely some idiot tourist, but rather that I am actually getting to know the regional civilisation and environs. I went on a Swedish holiday in 2009 which was superb.
There are friends I know that really like fishing holidays. They are rarely more cheerful than standing by a stream having to wait for hours to land a fish.
I can understand the reason that they might like it, in particular if they’re someplace boasting lovely landscape. My pal Steve traveled to the Swedish coast to go fishing in that part of the world, and he said the scenery was a delight, and so was the woman he traveled with!
My father enjoys going on golf holidays.
He has been a golfing man all his life, and he is tremendous at golf nowadays. Sometimes when I go to play with him I’m astonished by how far he is able to drive his golf-ball, plus it rarely seems to end up in the stream like my shots invariably do.
One time during the time we were out, I managed fifteen strokes on the 9th alone!
My sister enjoys going on spa holidays.
She likes to get a pampering and to chill out away from the stress of her career. She does work tremendously hard thus if she takes a holiday she prefers to just unwind, instead of rushing around sight seeing. And which more enjoyable way to relax than by passing time at the spa?.
My uncle’s passion is adventure holidays. He’s that kind of chap.
He used to be in the forces, and he is constantly awash with get-up-and-go.
He enjoys wind-surfing and frequently travels round the planet to do it, but in 2012 he’s going trekking in the Siberian tundra.
