Top Horror Movies

Do you have any top horror movies that you’ve watched lately? The top horror movies are usually the ones that send chills up and down your spine. With that said movies like Psycho and Texas chainsaw massacre would top my parents list of favorites, while my favorites would include oldies and newbie’s like Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, scream movies, or even a real old one like Maniac cop that could also make its way to my parents list.

A great horror movie is one that can stay in your mind for days making you shiver or jump from the slightest sound.

All Stephen Kings horror movies send chills down your spine but they all have unique ways of doing it. Stephen King’s horror flicks would definitely make top horror movies list with such classics as Christine, It, Sometimes they come back and many more. Wes Craven seems to be the only person that can compete with Stephen King when it comes to top horror movies.

Remember when you’d watch one those horror movies and even though you knew it was just a movie you slept with the lamp light on for the night? I guess when you’re a child horror movies seem at their best and perform the job of sending fear through you really well because when you get older it’s hard to find that one movie that really has a lasting impression. They just don’t make horror movies today like they used to, its more sex than blood, more laughing than screaming, and more comedy than meaning. Watch some of the top horror movies of today and compare them with the horror movies of yesterday, see which ones scream better. Can you remember the first horror movie you ever saw?
